Har Ki Dun, a meadow trek is considered one of the best treks in Uttranchal region. Besides Cider & Birch forest the valley is covered with number of flowers making the landscape colorful with enchanting views to the trekkers. The serpentine Tons river enhances the beauty of the area with its shimmer.
Day 01: Haridwar – Mori Village
Arrival at Haridwar, transfers to Mori village which is ~200 kms and takes around 8-9 hrs drive. Stay overnight in camps. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner
Day 02: Mori - Sankri - Taluka After breakfast drive for an hour to Sankri village, the base point for the trek. Trek from Sankri village to Tauka camping ground is of ~11 kms and will take around 5-6 hrs. Stay overnight in camps. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner
Day 03: Taluka – Osla Trek to Osla from Taluka, a start with steep up, the total trail is of 13 kms and takes around 6-7 hrs. Stay overnight in camps. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner
Day 04: Osla – Har Ki Dun Trek to Har ki dun meadows from Osla which is of ~12 kms and will take around 6-7 hrs. Stay overnight in camps. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner
Day 05: Har ki Dun – Morinda Tal and back Trek to Morinda tal for better view of Swargrohini peaks, the trek is ~5kms and takes around 2 hrs to reach. Return back to Har ki dun. Stay overnight in camps. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner
Day06: Har Ki Dun – Osla After breakfast trek to Osla, which is of ~12 kms and will take around 5-6 hrs. Stay overnight in camps. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner
Day 07: Osla – Taluka - Sankri Trace back to Sankri village, which will take around 4-6 hrs, from there drive down to Mori village. Stay in Guest house. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner
Day 08: Sankri - Haridwar After breakfast transfer to Haridwar. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch
• Stay accommodation in camps on twin/ multi sharing. • Tented accommodation on all trekking days with sleeping mattress and bag, kitchen tent etc. • Meals as mentioned above. • Transfers from Haridwar to Haridwar • Goody bag & snack packs en route on all trekking days. • Porters/ mules will be provided on sharing basis. Porters would be used only for transfer of luggage (partial); you will be required to carry your own day back packs. • All the permit fees, forest department and camping charges for the trek. • Trip is accompanied by a vXplor buddy for smooth operations and management of entire trip. • Professional guide and a trek leader
• Any sightseeing expense or food/ beverages consumed other then mentioned in the itinerary. • Any kind of insurance • Any expenditure of personal nature like phone calls, tipping, any kind of medical expense • Any additional cost or expanse incurred due to unforeseen events or weather.
