This lake lies 45 km north of Mandi, with a three storied pagoda like temple dedicated to the sage Prashar. The Lake is located at an height of 2730 m above sea level. With deep blue waters, the Lake is held sacred to the sage Prashar and he is regarded to have meditated here. Framed by snow-capped peaks and looking down on fast flowing river Beas.
Day 1: Panarsa to Prashar lake Via Jwalapur
Arrive at Panarsa in morning and checkin into Hotel to freshen-up, Tea and Brunch, Packed snacks + fruits + Juice would be provided here for trek, drive up to Jwalapur village in vehicles. From Jwalapur, trek to Prashar Lake. The trail is uphill along-side a stream of water, stop en route for packed snacks. Learn pitching camps at the Prashar Lake. After a refreshing cup of tea/coffee, explore the beautiful surroundings. Enjoy the starry night after a well earned dinner. Overnight stay in camps.
Day 2: Prashar lake – Jwalapur – Panarsa - Naggar
After an early breakfast. Enjoy the views of the snow clad mountain ranges of Himachal. See the famous Dhauladhar and PirPanjal Range, Hanuman Tibba Peak and many more peaks from visible from here, later hike down back to Jwalapur Village. Lunch @ Panarsa on the banks of Beas River. Board the waiting vehicle and depart for Nagar for overnight Camping.
Day 3: Naggar – Manali/Panarsa
After an Early Breakfast. Enjoy the ambience and surroundings of apple orchards of Nagar. Walk to the hot water springs in the Beas River for a Dip. Later Drive to Manali, Lunch at Manali, Sightseeing in Manali and then Volvo to Delhi are available
