Nag Tibba Trek
Nag Tibba: which is also known as Serpent's Peak, is the highest peak (3022m) in the Garhwal region. It has a romantic association with Heinrich Harrer’s best-selling Seven Years in Tibet as he escaped, in 1944, from a Dehradun prisoner-of-war camp.
Day 1: Dehradun to Nag Tibba Base
Arrive at Dehradun station early morning and drive up to Pantwari village in vehicles. Stop en route for tea and freshening up. From Pantwari, trek to Nagtibba. The trail is uphill, stop en route for refreshments and lunch. Learn pitching camps at the Nagtibba base. After a refreshing cup of tea/coffee, explore the beautiful surroundings. Enjoy the starry night after a well earned dinner. Overnight stay in camps.
Day 2: Nag tibba Base – Nag Tibba – Pantwari - Dehradun
After an early breakfast, hike to the Nagtibba summit (3050 mts). Enjoy the views of the snow clad mountain ranges of Garhwal and Himachal. See the famous Swargarohini, Bandarpoonch, Srikanth, Black Peak and many more peaks from here. Have picnic lunch, later hike down back to Pantwari Village. Board the waiting vehicle and depart for Dehradun.
70% payment is to be made at the time of registration. Balance payments is to be made a fortnight before the trip date.
