 Road trip beyond boundaries fascinates travelers who always find a new meaning to life. Their passion to meet new people, know their culture and lifestyle drives them to take paths less travelled. Driving on the Highway which gradually leads you to different beliefs, eating habits and language is one of the best beauties of road trips that you should experience. Embarking on one such journey to Bhutan by road will fill all travel enthusiasts with contentment on knowing how beautiful this world could be! The bustling markets, monasteries blended with perfect nature will make your road trip to Bhutan a memorable journey.

 Explore this utterly beautiful country by spending a week cruising the roads, tip toeing the monasteries, leisurely walks through the village and what not.

Itinerary:

Day 1: Siliguri – Thimphu

With early morning start, the day entails crossing the International border from Siliguri to Thimphu. Rest of the day is at leisure.

  • Stay overnight at Thimphu.
  • Meals: Breakfast & Dinner
Day 2 : Thimphu

After breakfast the group will leave for local sightseeing and exploration of the Capital city.

  • Stay overnight at Thimphu.

 Day 3: Thimphu – Punakh

After an early breakfast followed by check out, the group will drive to Punakha. It will take around 3 hrs driving through Dochu La (3150 mts). Check in and then proceed for local sightseeing.

Day 4: Punakha – Paro

After an early breakfast we will drive to Khamsum Valley, visit Namgyal temple which is 40 mins on foot standing majestically on a ridge. Later return back to Punakha and drive to Paro.

 Day 5: Paro

After breakfast visit the 17th century Paro Dzong (fortress) on foot and climb the oldest wooden bridge which is still used by local people. In the evening stroll through the old town and try out some local cuisine.

 Day 6: Paro

After breakfast trek to the most honored and respected temple of the country – Tiger Nest. The temple literally hangs from the granite cliff overlooking Paro valley. Rest of the day is at leisure. Shop till you drop or try out the Bhutanese hot stone bath to relax & rejuvenate.

  • Stay overnight at Paro.
  • Meals: Breakfast & Dinner
 Day 7: Paro- Siliguri

As all good things comes to an end so is the case with the trip, return back to Siliguri after a day long journey.

  • Stay overnight at Siliguri.
  • Meals: Breakfast & Dinner

 Cost: Rs 35000/- per person
